The Raffle Fine Print

Yeah, we hate this stuff too... but it's a necessary evil nowadays. Don't let it scare you -- we're really pretty flexible.

THE SWEEPSTAKES:

• Contest runs from 10/15/2010 through 4/16/2011 ("Offer Period").
• During the Offer Period, My New Obsession ("MNO", "we") will promote the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets, to win the Grand Prize as detailed below.

ELIGIBILITY:

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid phone number, so we can contact you if you win.
• Don't have direct financial ties to MNO, such as those that have performed paid services for MNO in the past 6 months.
• Don't be a relative or household member of anyone with direct financial ties to MNO.
• Final eligibility is at MNO's sole discretion.

HOW TO ENTER:

• Enter using the form on this web page, or
• Purchase at ANY MNO show taking place during the Offer Period (see the MNO Schedule Page for show times), or
• Contact MNO to arrange for purchase in person.
• When purchasing in person (not using the form on this page) make sure your valid phone number is legible on ALL tickets purchased.
• When purchasing online, make sure you provide a valid phone number on the PayPal order form.
• Tickets must be purchased on or before 4/16/2011.

HOW TO WIN:

• The Grand Prize Winner ("Winner") will be selected in a random drawing conducted from all qualified entries on April 16th, 2011
• If we can't reach the Winner, or if the Winner forfeits the prize or does not meet eligibility requirements, a new Winner will be chosen at random.
• We will continue to draw tickets until a Winner is determined.
• You don't need to be present at the Anniversary Show to win; we'll contact the Winner using the phone number provided.
• MNO is not responsible for busy phone signals or incomplete entries.

GRAND PRIZE:

• (One) Grand Prize Winner will receive an MNO show (“Random Obsession Performance”), under the Performance Terms described below.
• There are no other prizes.
• The Random Obsession Performance must be booked by April 16st, 2012, or the prize will be forfeited.
• Schedule conflicts are resolved on a first-come, first-served basis (existing bookings will not be cancelled or moved).
• The Grand Prize IS TRANFERRABLE, with our approval, at our sole discretion, and the receiving party must still honor the Performance Terms as outlined below.
• There will be no cash or other substitutions of this prize.
• Winners that book their Random Obsession Peformance agree to the following:
  
  
  • The Winner releases, indemnifyies and holds harmless MNO from and against any and all harm, expense, liability or injury that may be sustained relating to or arising from participation in the raffle or acceptance or use of the prize; and
  • The Winner authorizes MNO to use the Winner's names, likenesses, photographs, voices and biographical data for any purpose, in any media, unless prohibited by law.

MINIMUM CONTEST PARTICIPATION:

• We need at least 40 raffle entries in order to execute the drawing.
• If we do not receive the minimum number of entries, we reserve the right to cancel the drawing and refund all raffle ticket purchases in full.

UNFORSEEN EVENTS:

• MNO may change or cancel this raffle offer at its sole discretion at any time that we become aware of any circumstances or occurrence which would materially affect the sweepstakes security or fairness.
• We may announce raffle rule changes any time, via this web site.
• MNO is not responsible for the inability of the Winner to accept the prize for any reason.
• In the event of cancellation, entrants will be contacted using the phone numbers they’ve provided on the back of their raffle tickets, to receive refunds.

WINNER LISTS:

• The annual Winners will be listed on the MNO website on an ongoing basis.

SEVERABILITY:

• If any provision(s) of these Rules are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect.

MAXIMUM LIABILITY:

• In all circumstances, MNO’s liability will be limited to the purchase price of the raffle tickets used to draw the Grand Prize.

 

The Random Obsession Performance Terms

If you are the Winner, the following terms are specified for the your Random Obsession Performance event:

MINIMUM ATTENDENCE:

• Your event must have minimum of 20 invited guests. The more the merrier!

MAXIMUM DISTANCE:

• The event must be within approximately a one hour travel distance of Norwich, NY.
• We'll travel further, for additional pay.
• MNO will use Google Maps to determine approximate travel times.
• Absolute maximum distance is at our sole discretion.

THE RANDOM OBSESSION PERFORMANCE:

• The Random Obsession Performance is a THREE HOUR SHOW, with a reasonable break after 1.5 hours.
• We'll play longer for you, for additional pay.
• We don't use hazardous materials/pyrotechnics during our shows.
• Please feel free to discuss with us the type of music you feel your guests will enjoy the most – it is important that MNO is a good fit for your event!
• MNO will make every attempt to keep the stage and PA volume at an exciting BUT comfortable and safe level.

PERFORMANCE LOCATION:

• Required: A minimum area of 14’x14’ is required.
• Recommended: A slightly raised stage area of 18’x18’ or more is ideal
• Additional floor space (generally along a side wall) is required for the FOH sound engineer.
• We recommend a spacious dance floor!
• We LOVE outdoor events, but we advise having a backup plan in the event of weather issues.
• Please be mindful of local noise ordinances prior to booking; there will be NO refunds issued for performances cut short due to legal issues of any kind.
• Given the above, we recommend booking an actual venue for your Random Obsession Performance, if possible.

ARRIVAL TIME:

• Whenever possible, MNO prefers to arrive at least 4 hours before performance time to begin setup. This allows ample time for load-in, setup, sound check and then a respectable break before we are required to get into "entertainment mode".
• Doing our load-in and sound check PRIOR to the venue opening or guests arriving is ideal.

LOAD-IN/LOAD-OUT:

• Be sure to tell us your preferences for load-in and load-out (which doors to use, parking, etc.).
• Please be sure that the load-in/load-out pathway is clear prior to our arrival.
• Our goal is to bring the least amount of disruption to the guests/event prior to our performance.
• Upon load-out, we are committed to leaving the performance area in the same condition as load-in, if not better.
• Please be sure adequate lighting is available before and after the show, to minimize the chance for injury.

WE NEED POWER!

• We request at least (2) 20 amp circuits, with three being ideal.
• Please be sure to determine and point out to us where all relevant breakers are located.

INSURANCE/SECURITY:

• Please carry all appropriate personal injury and property damage liability insurance for your venue/event.
• MNO will not be held responsible for any damages incurred by guests.
• Please determine a "go-to" person, who will be responsible for security (removal of unruly guests, protection of assets, etc.) during our visit, and let us know who that person is.

MERCHANDISING:

• We may opt to bring along some MNO merchandise to sell, during your Random Obsession Performance. We need you to be okay with that.
